TR-2200
Table of Contents
My Kenwood TR-2200 6-Channel 2m FM Tranceiver.
This transceiver was inherited in 1998 from PD0GEG(SK). The set has not been used for many years, but 2020-01-31 found to be still fully functional.
It is typically a set for the 1980's era Dutch "D license" (an early novice license). This license only allowed transmission on a few selected channels in the 2m band.
One could perhaps use it as a monitor receiver for the local repeater or the local club-channel. But that would, in my case, require a change to the crystals. BUT: See update below.
Update 2020-10-07: New Xtals
Today I received (From Andy-Quarz some new xtals for this set. They seem to work as intended, so I can now use this set as a monitor receiver for the local repeater DB0WA and the local group channels.
Now I need a CTCSS generator to actually work over this repeater with this unit (but I have other sets that will do).

Modernized Power-supply Connection
Mains connection
The TR2200 actually has a builtin 220V AC mains power supply.
But a modern standard C7 connector doesn't fit (without undue force):
On the TR2200 we have 2.75mm pins with a centre-spacing of 7.8mm (so a C1 doesn't fit either).
The following cable (currently at PE0FKO) might fit, we'll try it in the near future.
Manual
Note (2020-07-06): I recovered our own copy of the manual in between PD0GEG's papers. See this scan of the front-page:
The following scans are probably, via assorted in-betweens, from manualslib. (Although, that's also unlikely to be the original source.)
The most interesting pages of the manual.
